Upper Lip (ages 18+)

Initial piercing is performed with an oversized 2-piece stud (flat back + top) 16gauge minimum.
The flat back should be downsized (change to a fitted flat back [$15] that is interchangeable with initial stud top) at 2-6 weeks into healing. A secondary downsize may be beneficial at 2-4 mo in to minimize contact with teeth/gums
Fitted hoops can typically be worn at 3-5 mo.
Total cost per piercing (service + jewelry) with classic titanium flat back stud topped with:
- Titanium shapes or single gems is $60-95.
- Ornate titanium options is $95-150.
- 14k or 18k options is $95-500+

Smiley Piercing (ages 18+)

AKA upper labial frenulum. These piercings are anatomy dependent and tend to cause significant gum/tooth damage and are prone to migration. Even mild traumas can cause tearing (micro, partial or full) as the tissue is very thin and fragile.
Initial piercing performed with a ring (16 gauge minimum) that should be downsized (purchase smaller ring $20+) at 2-6 weeks into healing to minimize contact with teeth/gums.
Total cost per piercing (service + jewelry) with classic titanium jewelry is $55-125+

Cheek Piercing (ages 18+)

Cheek piercings are an intense piercing to heal and tend problematic and finicky piercings for how ever long they’re worn, even after 10 years!
They are also anatomy dependent. We offer them only for folks experienced in healing piercings who are willing to do an in-person consultation and agree to a 3 week waiting period before getting pierced to really think things through.
They can cause tooth damage, may hit larger vessels or small salivary ducts and go through layers of muscle. They also tend to pocket fluid and will ebb and flow with inflammation frequently. Some folks do just fine with them and other have trouble. Just want your to be aware of the risks!

These piercings are a bit more intense piercing to heal and tend problematic and finicky piercings for how ever long they’re worn, even after 10 years! They are also anatomy dependent. We offer them only for folks experienced in healing piercings.
