Ear Piercings

Large Gauge Lobe (age 18+)

8g (~3mm)- 2g (~6mm) single flared glass plugs

Initial piercings are performed with a 8 gauge - 2 gauge single flared plug made of lead-free glass or high-polish stone rated 6+ on the Moh’s hardness scale. They are secured by a medical grade silicone o-ring on the back side. This style of jewelry is not the most secure so caution during the initial healing period is strongly recommended.

Future stretching (expanding plug size) shouldn’t be done inside the first 4-8 mo. depending on healing.

Total cost per piercing (service + jewelry) is $110-145

Notes:

Starting at a larger guage can result in the piercing never fully closing/shrinking if jewlery is removed and will leave a more noticable scar.

Submerging fresh piercings while swimming should be avoided for 8-12 weeks minimum.
